Major Plot Roles
As an optional character, Peppita only comes into the main story at two key points! Let's take a look!
Hyda IV
Despite being a relatively minor character, Peppita is actually one of the first characters you meet. In the beginning, you meet Peppita in a room on the Grantier Hotel Resort as Fayt and Sophia are wandering around. After walking in, Peppita immediately mistakes them as fans who want an autograph and sign the back of Fayt's shirt with a black marker. Those with the North American version will probably notice that Peppita signs the shirt as "Souffle." That is because Souffle is Peppita's original name in the Japanese version. The signature was just never changed. As a side note, if you earn this outfit as Fayt's extra costume, it will still have the signature on it!
Later on, when Hyda IV is attacked, Peppita aids both Fayt and Sophia in their escape. Although it is a relatively easy battle, Peppita joins you in battle as Fayt tries to rush back to save his aunt and uncle. However, once the battle ends, Peppita's friends pick up Fayt and take him to safety.
Moonbase
Much later in the game, the party re-encounters Peppita at the Moonbase. Peppita's circus troupe was planning to perform at the base as Peppita's debut, but the attack of the Executioners delayed the performance indefinitely. Angry, Peppita follows Fayt and his party and helps to fight against the Executioners on the Moonbase.
After receiving the end of the Moonbase adventures, you get to choose if you want Peppita in your party permanently because Peppita keeps whining to Fayt that she wants to go too. Between Albel, Nel, Peppita, and Roger, you can only take two characters, and one of them has to be Albel or Nel. Thus, if you take Peppita, you automatically lose one of the Elicoor knights and Roger.
