Episode III: Tech Attacks

MOMO's Episode III Tech Attacks are completely different from her Episode I Tech Attacks. This is probably because 1) she uses an Ether Bow instead of a scepter now and 2) her Ep 1 Tech Attacks weren't very good to begin with. Luckily, MOMO proves to be more efficient with an Ether bow (in other words, her Tech Attacks are useful)! The only downside is that if you decide to try and learn her Tech Attacks (along the B-path of her skill tree), you don't learn as fast or at all her elemental spells (along the A-path of her skill tree), which are pretty fundamental to the game.

You don't need to input a sequence for Tech Attacks anymore. Simply select it from the menu (very hard to miss: it's under "Attack" as "Tech") and you select the attack from the list. Her attacks either diffuse to multiple enemies, help fill the enemy's break gauge, or are simply powerhouses. She does not learn any automatically. Here's a list of them:

As you can probably already tell, Sword Fish is the best one, attacking both the HP and Break gauges heavily. This attack is actually pretty similar to Ziggy's Swordfish (Ziggy and MOMO are getting close huh?). Break Arrows are also very effective in the beginning portion. Another major difference is that these attacks do not need to be set to be used. If you think of the FFX battle system, this is very similar. Overall, whatever path you choose for MOMO (Ether or Tech), she'll be very useful.
