Episode III: Autolearned

So what exactly does "Autolearned" mean? Good question! In Xenosaga III, every character has a set of abilities they learn automatically depending on their strengths. For example, KOS-MOS and Jin learn Tech Attacks and some Ethers automatically because of their strong physical strength. Thus, MOMO learns a ton of Ether spells (unfortunately no Tech Attacks though).

As MOMO levels up, she learns new Ether spells ranging from recovery like Medica up to even Support Ethers like "Hilbert Effect." In fact, I'm really disappointed but the only Ether spell MOMO doesn't learn (besides some master ones she doesn't have) are the Break Heals. In order for her to learn this, you have to use the extended Skill Tree. Other than that, MOMO tends to learn everything a bit earlier than everyone else as well so with MOMO you can't lose!

Yikes! With some of those EP totals, it's scary to use MOMO's Ethers, but if you accessorize her right (ex. use Heaven's Door or raise her Max EP), these costs will seem minimal compared to how useful they are. So remember accessorize/level up and MOMO will be one of the best in your party with all these automatically learned abilities!
